About

An independent, plain-English reference for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, and the Power Platform.

This site exists because the official Microsoft documentation is vast, correct, and often exhausting. It answers "how does X work" precisely — but not "which X applies here, and why". That is what the guides here try to do: pick a concept, explain it in the shape that consultants, admins, and buyers actually think in, and link out to the authoritative Microsoft sources when you need to go deeper.

It is written by Emil Björk, a Microsoft business apps consultant in Gothenburg, Sweden. Nothing on the site is sponsored. When a book, blog, or course is recommended, it's because I read or used it.

There is a sister site for the Microsoft 365 modern-workplace stack (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot). Together the two sites cover the Microsoft cloud from the business-apps side and the productivity / security side.

Every guide has a stable URL, an author byline, a publication date, and (where relevant) a Further reading block that points to Microsoft Learn or Microsoft Docs. If you spot an error or want a topic covered, please reach out.
